Hattiesburg, Mississippi – Due to the holiday schedule of The University of Southern Mississippi, Hub City Transit will operate a limited service schedule for the Gold Route.

Between December 12 – December 20:

The Gold Route will run approximately every 20 minutes. Hours of operation are unchanged.

Between December 21 and December 28:

The Gold Route bus will meet each stop approximately every 45 minutes and will also double as a Blue Route (Hardy Street) bus, enabling riders to reach Downtown or West Hattiesburg.

The message board on this bus will read “Gold / Blue” and it will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other buses labeled only as “Blue” will continue solely as Blue Route buses and will operate their normal hours.

Holiday Closures:

Please also note that ALL Hub City Transit operations will be closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1. Buses do not run on Saturdays and Sundays. All normal operating hours will resume for all routes on January 2, 2019.
