Hattiesburg Announces 2025 Mardi Gras Events

Hattiesburg, Mississippi – On Wednesday, February 5, Mayor Toby Barker and city partners gathered at City Hall to announce several events for the upcoming Mardi Gras season. The 2025 festivities will feature returning favorites, offering a variety of parades, block parties, pub crawls and cultural celebrations for residents and visitors of all ages.

A glimpse of the 2025 Mardi Gras event calendar includes:

  • Krewe of St. Catherine 3rd Annual Roll & Stroll Parade and Block Party – Friday, Feb. 21 | 6:30 p.m. | Downtown Hattiesburg
  • Mardi Gras Mambo Pub Crawl – Saturday, Feb. 22 | 12 p.m. | Downtown Hattiesburg
  • Carnaval Brasileiro, presented by MS Latinx Art Association – Saturday, Feb. 22 | 8 p.m. | Fat Cat
  • Mardi Gras Scholarship Ball, hosted by the Krewe of Lumière and The Good Vibe Foundation – Friday, Feb. 28 | 7 p.m. | Lake Terrace Convention Center
  • Hattiesburg Caerus Mardi Gras Parade – Saturday, March 1 | 2 p.m. | Midtown

“Mardi Gras in Hattiesburg is more than just a celebration; it’s a reflection of our city’s energy and creativity,” Mayor Toby Barker said. “These events highlight our local businesses, musicians and artists, creating opportunities for people to come together and experience the unique culture of our community.”
