Today’s update rounds out all of the current executive orders into one place and goes over what began today with both Governor Reeves’ Orders 1487 & 1488 and Mayor Barker’s Executive Order 2020-9.
Governor Reeves’ Executive Orders 1487 & 1488
- Opens outdoor recreation and amusement (playgrounds, water parks, etc.) at 50% capacity.
- Opens school sports practices, weight rooms and training facilities.
- Extends other elements of the Safer-at-Home order until June 1, this includes that indoor amusement and recreation remain closed, per Governor Reeves’ order.
Executive Order 2020-9
- Turtle Creek Mall is open. The food court is to-go only.
- Masks are required. Customer occupancy limits are by square footage. Entertainment venues (movie theater and other amusement) are still closed.
- Massage therapy facilities are open.
- Capacity in salons and barbershops are expanded.
- Mask requirement in gyms is relaxed.
