COVID-19 Testing
If you live in south Lamar County, there is a free drive-thru testing opportunity on Saturday (June 6) at Ben Barrett Community Center in Lumberton, from Noon until 4 p.m. The test is free, but you must be screened first with the Cspire Health App. If you do not have a smartphone, you can also call 601-496-7200.
To date, the testing site at CE Roy Community Center has administered 503 tests, with 396 results provided. This site will continue to operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but the times will change to 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This change takes effect on Monday, June 8.

Sandbags are available throughout the weekend at Fire Station #1 (810 North Main Street). These are free and available to the public.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and bring you additional updates throughout the weekend. Please stay weather aware.
