Position: Facility Maintenance Repairer (FMR) – Sewer

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hr.

Nature of Work:
This is manual labor of a semi-skilled nature to install and maintain sewer lines or related work as required. Work involves the performance of manual tasks requiring limited skills or special knowledge acquired through work experience. The physical demands of the position may require walking, standing, lifting or reaching. The working conditions require outside labor in all weather conditions. Assignments may frequently include the use of standard or specialized hand tools, power-operated equipment or other devices. Assignments may include the occasional operation of trucks and other automotive equipment incidental to regular duties. A valid Mississippi Driver’s license is required and must be maintained. The position requires after-hours and on-call availability as needed. The position requires Hepatitis B vaccination. All work is performed under the direct supervision of a foreman.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
