HPD BENEVOLENT FUND

Acting as the department’s charitable arm, the Benevolent Fund is used to help officers and their families during a crisis. It also supports children in need and victims of violent crimes during the holiday season. The fund is operated and managed by an elected board, consisting of both sworn and non-sworn personnel.

Dollars raised for the fund come from direct donations, special programming opportunities for officers and a signature fundraising event held in May, the Blue Line Challenge.
