MSU Pine Belt Master Gardeners is pleased to invite community members to attend our Spring Garden Day on Saturday, April 13th at the Forrest County Extension Center in Hattiesburg, MS (952 Sullivan Drive). The event theme is “Spring into Gardening.” Registration begins inside at 8:30am. The program will begin inside the building at 9am with special guest speakers Ms. Patricia Drackett, Director of Crosby Arboretum who will talk about high performing, low maintenance native perennials for your garden and Ms. Paige Mizell, VP Mizell’s Camellia Hill Nursery whose topic is general information about camellias and how to care for them. There will be plant sales from Pine Belt Master Gardeners and vendors outside during breaks and until noon. We hope to see you there!
The MSU Pine Belt Master Gardeners is a volunteer organization through the MS State Extension Service, serving both Forrest and Lamar counties. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10am.
