How do I book my appointment online?
When you go to our website, click “Book Appointment” and you will be taken to our scheduling page. There you will find an appointment type listed as “Microchip Event”. Fill out the necessary information for yourself and your pet, and select January 25th for the date.
What is a microchip?
A microchip is a small device (about the size of a grain of rice) that contains a unique, registered number that identifies an animal when scanned at shelters or clinics to provide owner information. This contact information can then be used for reuniting a lost pet.
Is a microchip a GPS tracker?
No, a microchip is NOT a GPS tracker, and more like a permanent ID tag that your pet cannot lose, unlike their collar and tag.
How old does my pet have to be in order to receive a microchip?
There is no specific age limit for a pet to receive a microchip. We typically microchip puppies and kittens around 6-8 weeks old.
