As part of our “Good Neighbor” Campaign the City of Hattiesburg’s Code Enforcement Team is asking each resident and or business to self-identify and take corrective action to resolve any or all of the following violations prior to code enforcement inspections of our neighborhoods or businesses:
- Overgrown grass, weeds and litter on personal property and real estate properties.
- City trash and garbage containers removed from curbside back onto your property
- Junk and debris (normally spread out over property)
- Improper Outdoor Storage (normally under garages and or on yard)
- Non-Operation Vehicles (Must have a current tag, able to move under its own power)
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Pease remove all political signs from private or commercial properties. If you are a political campaign, please remove from all locations within the city limits, especially any signs in the city right-of-ways, displayed at businesses and or campaign locations!
Per City of Hattiesburg’s Land Development Code Sec. 95.04.E that govern temporary signs, political signs are “….to be removed within 3 days following the election or conclusion of the campaign.”
