The City of Hattiesburg and Forrest County Invite you to Join Them at the 2017 National Night Out Against Crime Kick-Off July 27th
The City of Hattiesburg and Forrest County invite everyone to join them at the National Night Out Against Crime Kick-Off, which is scheduled for July 27th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the C.E. Roy Community Center. This year’s theme is “Working Together For a Strong & Safe Hattiesburg.” At the Kick-Off, you will have an evening of enjoyment and education while interacting with representatives from the City and County – who are serving as the exhibitors. The Kick-Off will feature a “Hattiesburg Got Talent” contest, Hattiesburg Trivia, school supplies give away, car seat give away, door busters, competitions and games for children, teens and adults. The African American Military History Museum will be open to give tours, the Hattiesburg Police and Fire Departments will bring their mobiles and the Forrest County Volunteer Fire Department will bring their fire house, which teach individual how to exit a burning dwelling safely. The neighborhood association with the most members at the Kick-Off will receive a grand prize; everyone touring the Museum will be entered into a private drawing.
